Microsoft Office 2010 - Review & Install Links
Microsoft Office is now more than just a pack of editors for different document types. It contains apps for organizing team work, providing communication, creating notes and different types of documents. Download Microsoft Office for Android the way you want it, only the parts you really need!
Uninstall the app:
- Go to Settings menu
- Choose Apps or Application manager
- Touch the app you want to remove
- Press Uninstall
Along with familiar Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, MS Office includes apps that used to be standalone or based on other services, 12 in total. Say, OneDrive is no more a Windows exclusive app, but rather a service meant for Office apps. The same is with Skype that came from the outside. Its relative Skype for Business is rather based on MS Communicator/Lync.
Microsoft Office for Android review won’t be long enough to describe all the apps (and we assume you know most of them well), but there are some worth special attention. Yammer is the base for corporate social network, for contacting people, sharing media materials, creating public discussions and doing other corporate communicating. Office Lens is a thing for mobile devices, made for creating PDF documents from those you scan with your smartphone camera. Delve is an auxiliary Office365 manager, a search system for managers with lots of workers. Microsoft Teams is an ultimate corporate work dashboard, accessing all your team and their projects.
Unlike other office suites, still following the pattern of three document editors in one app, modern MS Office is flexible, letting you download what you need exactly. Today you can download Microsoft Office for Android for free, app by app, and use it locally. But its true power is revealed with Office365 subscription, and on devices larger than 10” key features won’t work without it.
How Does It Work?
Apps differentiation caused varying attention to them. While Word and Excel are image making products, they get the best updates and work almost perfectly. Specific apps like Delve or Team may be glitchier, requiring a pro to set them up. But MS Office is probably the best office suite for those ready to pay for quality.
